Mary Martin was born in Folkestone and studied at the Royal College of Art, 1929-32.
The Tate Gallery held a major one-man retrospective exhibition of her work in 1984.
She specialised in abstract reliefs and constructions.
The Tate Gallery has some fine examples in their collection.
