Cesar is a French sculptor and a major international artist.
The Pompidou Centre [Paris] held a large retrospective exhibition recently.
Most major public galleries hold his sculpture including the Tate Gallery and Museum of Modern Art [New York].
There is a catalogue raisonne of his sculpture 1947-1964 - his best period.
Cesar is probably my favourite sculptor.
