KENNETH  ARMITAGE  R.A.

Kenneth Armitage is a very good sculptor, particularly in the 1950s when he was one of the 'Geometry of Fear' sculptors.
He studied at the Slade and represented the UK at the 1958 Venice Biennale, winning the 'best international sculptor' award.
The Tate Gallery & Museum of Modern Art [New York] collections include his work and a book was published by Lund Humphries.
I have yet to find a sculpture I really like under my price limit.
