I mainly concentrate on sculptors who were active in the 1950s and early 1960s as that was by far the best period for modern sculpture [and paintings], in my opinion.

Most of my collection on this website was acquired after 1995.
I have always maintained a strict price ceiling of £20000       due to limited funds and because I knew I could obtain examples of virtually all of the artists I admire most for under that figure - an exception being the Marino Marini bronzes: 'Horse and Rider', which I would love to own. 

The collection doesn't include some well known names, e.g. Barbara Hepworth and Elisabeth Frink, even though I have owned quite a few of their sculptures over the years, as I have never liked their work enough to want to keep any.

  There are some excellent sculptors here who were quite big      names in the 1950s which people may not be aware of now.
